I don't hang around there as much as I used to, but it seems like one thing after another for the forums I frequent. Hate to say it, but it looks kind of childish on both sides. That this has spilled out into the public scene speaks ill of both Derek and Oleg, two men I've long respected.
For those of you who don't know, Oleg is the guy who takes a good chunk of the artsy gun pictures on the web. He was instrumental in starting THR when TFL went on hiatus.
Derek was there from the beginning and took care of most of the server configuration and setup, and has served as sysadmin for the entire length of time that THR has been operating. Point of interest, he also helped me when I was first setting up the server that became BenSwenson.com.
Very disappointing. |
