Story here

The guy may qualify for $25,000 per year served. Anyone here want to spend the better part of two decades in prison for less than a half million pre-tax? Hmm?

Speaking of tax, I wonder how the IRS looks at gov't apology payments. Does it get taxed as income or gift?
