CNN is reporting:
"Officials said the attacks might take place before the November presidential election in an attempt to affect the outcome, similar to the way the Madrid train bombings influenced Spanish elections."
I don't like Bush as a President (way too socialist and statist for me, thank you very much), but I'd say Al Qaeda blowing up buildings to make him not get elected would be a pretty high recommendation for him.
Still wouldn't get my vote, though.
